The history of the Cloisters of San Barnaba begins with the construction of the complex of S. Maria della Pace in 1466 with the laying of the first stone in the area intended to house a church and the adjoining convent. This area had been donated by the Milanese Sforza family to a Portuguese nobleman, who had abandoned his sumptuous life to become a Franciscan. The Salone degli Affreschi, built as the refectory of the convent, is characterized by a fresco reproducing the theme of the Crucifixion, attributed to Bernardino Ferrari.

- Fee: A contribution of 80€ is asked for participation of SPICA delegates. Non-registered persons will be required a fee of 120€. Please note that the ticket distributed with the registration documents will be required to get access to the venue of the banquet. Cancellations and refund of booked tickets for the Banquet are not possible during the symposium.
